A Harvest Moon Woodland Wedding

HARVEST MOON, DUNBAR // JUNE 2024

I was back at the stunning Harvest Moon on the East Coast of Scotland for Natasha & Zack’s Wedding. They brought their families up from England to enjoy this gorgeous corner outside Edinburgh. Luckily the weather gods played ball and after rain the day before we got a DRY day…yey! They had a Yurt set up for dinner & dancing later, most things were DIY. I joined Natasha as she was getting ready in the cottage with the girls.

Zack was in a treehouse (these are high tech tree houses!) with his best men and family. I loved their tweed suits, it really fitted in with the rustic vibe of the day.

Natasha wore a beautiful dress with floral patterns over it - I absolutely loved it and again fitted in so well with their woodland wedding. The ceremony is centred down an aisle of trees and gives the most amazing backdrop!

Natasha done a first look with her Dad and had a few photos with the girls before we walked through the woods to the ceremony. The sun started to shine through just as Natasha walked down the aisle.

A lovely ceremony where they said their own vows and we had a few laughs hearing some stories.

I organised a big confetti line so all the guests could join in and as guests headed down to the Yurt we took some family and couple photos.

Not forgetting the doggos!

Usually at this venue, I do all the photos in the woodland first (where the ceremony is) then once we have finished we join guests for cocktail hour so the couple can then enjoy the rest of the afternoon. After dinner, I will drive them down to the beach for a shoot there. This way they get to maximise their time with guests.
